SpidersBeGone - sort of is an extension that replaces the textures of the Spiders with different colors so that it's easier to look at them. The colors have been chosen to be easy on the eyes, so it's not so dark and scary. The spiders are still present in the game, but they're not as scary as they were before.
The colors have also been chosen to be similar to the real world. This means that you can actually look at the spiders and their surroundings without having to worry about what you're doing or about getting attacked by them.
